Passwordic is being structured so future browser-extension support can bring saved credentials closer to sign-in screens while keeping the Passwordic account—not the browser itself—as the source of truth. Browser-extension support is planned and should not be treated as generally available until released.
The goal is for a browser layer to surface credentials that already belong to the signed-in Passwordic account. Personal users should see their own approved records, while business users should remain inside the permissions and tenant context assigned to them.
People often copy passwords into notes, clipboards, or temporary text fields because signing in is inconvenient. A well-designed extension can reduce that friction by helping users select and fill approved credentials without creating a separate unmanaged password store.
Browser convenience should not bypass account security. Future extension sessions can be designed to respect MFA state, organization policy, session validity, account deactivation, and revocation so access can stop when the underlying account should no longer be trusted.
For organizations, a browser extension is only useful if it respects the same company boundary as the main application. Employees should not be able to use a browser integration to cross into another tenant or expose unrelated personal records.
A browser integration can eventually complement application launch, passwordless experiences, and SSO-assisted workflows. Those capabilities remain roadmap items and should be described according to what Passwordic actually implements and releases.
